About Aum Song Troughton

I began studying Jin Shin Do® Acupressure  14 years ago. This opened the door to my life journey in the healing arts.

As I began practicing JSD Acupressure I became aware of other healing modalities that would compliment what I was offering. I now combine Acupressure with Swedish style massage, Hakomi a body centered psychotherapy, and Medical Qigong Therapy.

My goal and passion in this work is to empower people to connect with their own innate healing abilities, addressing the root of their illness, as this is where true healing occurs.

I am passionate about Chinese Medicine, hiking in the mountains, backcountry skiing, kayaking, rock climbing, Qigong, yoga and meditating.

I am currently involved in the Relaxation Therapy program offered at the Campbell River Hospital. I have been a volunteer in this program since August 2010. It has been offered at the hospital for 3 years. The staff have noticed tremendous benefits as patients are able to find peace and relaxation in an hospital environment. This is an exciting program as we opening the door between allopathic medicine and the ancient traditions.
